The Bhagavad Gita, it is believed, is the essence of India's Vedic wisdom. As a perennial source of knowledge, it has intrigued the philosophical mind of men and women from all over the world. Prologue
The Bhagavad-Gita is the eternal message of the Lord Himself and the word of God becomes the path of enlightenment for all, irrespective of caste, creed, age and gender; social or economic status in the society. It is a whole literature in itself, containing a code of life, a philosophy of social and ethical relations, and a speculative thought on human problems and their solutions. Fundamentally the Gita preaches three things. First - do your duty to the best of your ability without the expectation of results, second - believe that God is present equally in all human beings, and third - the ultimate aim of all mortals is to attain salvation.
The noblest of Scriptures and the Greatest of Sagas, the Gita is bound to show light and happiness to everyone who listens attentively to each and every syllable of knowledge contained in it.
