Для написания музыки к долгожданной Hi-Fi-эпопее Даррена Ароновски "Фонтан", квартет "Kronos" объединился с композитором Клинтом Манселлом. Ранее они уже сотрудничали на предыдущей ленте Афроновского "Реквием по мечте" - визуально поэтическом, эмоционально-разрушительном фильме, который Элвис Митчел из "Нью-Йорк Таймс" оценил как “нокаут”. Тема Манселла была не только основной частью "Реквиема", помогающей создать напряженный, настораживающий тон, но музыкой имеющей собственную энергию.
На сей раз, Менселл добавляет новый захватывающий элемент: наряду с Kronos, он приглашает внести свой вклад в саундтрек задумчивых шотландских рокеров Mogwai. "Фонтан", в котором сыграли звезды Хью Джекман (Hugh Jackman, Люди-X) и обладательница Оскара-2006 как лучшая актриса второго плана Рейчл Уэйез (Rachel Weisz, Постоянный Садовник), является романтическим приключением, путешествием во времени. Debut cinematográfico del bailaor Antonio Canales, que protagoniza este musical cuyo argumento es una típica historia de gitanos. Caco, un patriarca gitano, encuentra en el alcohol y las juergas flamencas el único aliciente para olvidar la muerte de su hija. Siempre le acompaña su sobrino minusválido, al que Caco cuida desde que su hermano tuvo que huir después de asesinar a un miembro de otra familia gitana. Un crimen que está sin vengar y una tragedia que se avecina.
Varias glorias actuales del flamenco, como Tomatito, La Caita, Gritos De Guerra o La Paquera de Jerez, se unieron a los árabes Sheikh Ahmad al-Tuni para interpretar la banda sonora de la película del director argelino Tony Gatlif. Toyo's Camera is a collaboration of world-renowned artists including Photographers: Toyo Miyatake, Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Musicians: Kitaro, Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park) and Film Director: Junichi Suzuki. While cameras were prohibited in interment camps, there was one photographer who smuggled in a lens and built a camera with it, to capture life behind barbed wires. That photographer was Toyo Miyatake. Toyo's photographs of the internment camp captures the compelling stories of Japanese Americans in the feature documentary "TOYO'S CAMERA: Japanese American History during WWII."
Close to 500 riveting photographs of the Japanese Americans internees' daily lives faithfully portrays the time period. The thirty individuals who were interviewed for the film each share their deep, intimate stories, bringing a more poignant meaning to photographs and achieved footage.
Coupled with Toyo's photographs is the music of world-renowned Grammy and Golden Globe Award-winning artist, Kitaro.
Kitaro's various sound collaborations and resonant, multi-textured compositions, with their crescendos of passion and oases of serenity dramatically add energy to this film and Toyo's photographs. The music and photography intertwine a powerful and vivid sphere of consciousness to this riveting chapter of Japanese American History during World War II.

Description
Ennio Morricone's Academy Award-nominated score captures the conflict between 18th-century Jesuit missionaries trying to convert the native Indians, and the slavers who want to destroy them. In keeping with the serious subject matter and epic scope of Roland Joffé's film, the score is by turns grave, lyrical, and tense. Ever inventive, Morricone mixes liturgical chorales, native drumming, and Spanish-influenced guitars, often in the very same track, to capture the drama of the culture clash. His trademark lyricism also comes through, notably in the beautiful themes for "Gabriel's Oboe" and "Themore… Mission." Not as over-the-top as his well-known spaghetti Western scores, The Mission shows Morricone at his dramatic best.
